Our Anticipated Annual Family Meet & Greet Event at Bedford Village

Our Junior High Students from St. Theresa Middle School were extremely excited about this evening visit, as much as our seniors from Bedford Village were. Our Annual Meet and Greet event gives our student participants the opportunity to introduce their ”linked” senior to their parent. And the seniors invite one family member to meet their student’s families! This visit also allows all of us at Linking Generations to recognize how much each student and senior is an integral part of Linking Generation’s success. The Family Meet and Greet evening event is like a regular Linking Generations visit, as we do a structured activity together plus we plan some fun for everyone!

A very special thank you to our Program Funders and Community Supporters who attended our wonderful evening with us. A huge thank you to SUNCOR ENERGY, COUNTY CLOTHESLINE FOUNDATION, CHRISTENSEN DEVELOPMENTS, ELK ISLAND CATHOLIC SCHOOL BOARD, SHERWOOD PARK ROTARY CLUB AND STRATHCONA COUNCIL- COUNCILLOR BILL TONITA.

It was great to see the students and seniors interact. The program is definitely making a difference to both the students and the seniors.
