This event was so anticipated by the seniors, as SilverBirch Manor had been in outbreak for over a 1½ weeks.
We had 108 attendees at this special evening visit. At the beginning of the event, we asked all attending “how many families were attending for the first time?”. The reply was surprising – over ½ of the families had never been to
one of our Annual events! Like pervious events, it was hard to join in at a table and listen to the conversations. So many had brought yearbooks and old family school pictures with them to share. Even some family members had trophies from high school days!
A very special thank you to our Program Funders and Community Supporters who attended our wonderful evening with us. We shared our program success last night with Family Community Services (FCS), Heartland Housing Foundation, and Elk Island Public School Board (School Principal Ryan Marshall and LG School Liaison Sherry Janke).
