Linking Generations is so excited to expand program operations this year, in Fort Saskatchewan ! Our new program partnership will have elementary students visiting bi-weekly with seniors living in Rivercrest Lodge.
Linking Generations was established in 2004 as an intergenerational program that encourages “bridging the gap” between seniors and youth. We are registered as a Non-Profit Society with the Government of Alberta and as Registered Charity with the Government of Canada.
The purpose of our program is to bring the generations together so they can learn from each other, share their life experiences, and to bring some much needed laughter and smiles to our seniors in care.
Our young elementary students had their first visits with Rivercrest Lodge seniors this week, and both seniors and youth enjoyed the time together.
