Our partnership school, Ecole Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) extended an invitation to our participating Linking Generations seniors from Heartland Housing Silver Birch Lodge and Haven to attend an afternoon back in the classroom. Our seniors witnessed what a classroom looks like now – no black boards- only white boards! And computers.
What a glorious and eventful afternoon.
Seniors took part in an afternoon of relearning five core subject assignments and then were all awarded their passing certificates !
A very very special Thank you to Mr. Stefan Johnson ( principal ) and Ms. Denise Gagnon ( teacher) for making this special outing a day of laughter, hugs and memories for our seniors. Plus, we send a Shout Out to say Thanks to Drive Happiness for ensuring our seniors got to school on time and got back home safely
