Our Linking Generations Volunteer Grandparents play an important role in creating and strengthening intergenerational relationships and lives of seniors, children, and families.
Each month our volunteers share their stories and life experiences in many of our local elementary schools. One teacher recently shared with us: As an elementary teacher it is wonderful to hear the excitement in our students’ voices when they hear that our Volunteer Grandpa is coming to class today. They listen to “his” stories with joyful hearts and have so many questions to ask of him. Thank you Linking Generations.”
