With the Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign back, our Volunteer Grampa/Opa treated his assigned classroom to a HUGE surprise. As students ate their lunch, Grandpa/Opa Bernie showed up with Smile Cookies for everyone. The cheers from the students was so loud that staff in the school hallways came to see what happened — the kids were so excited!!!
The students gave Grampa/Opa Bernie a huge group hug to thank him.
Thank you for volunteering with our organization and giving these students a chance to have a wonderful friendship with a senior!
