Linking Generations has once again expanded operations in September 2024, offering our first ever weekly Share and Care Program program to seniors living in long term care at Capital Care Strathcona (Sherwood Park).
Many of our seniors in our regular school/senior facility programs are aging out of the junior high/high school programs and need to interact with youth in a different manner.
Elementary school students visit bi-weekly reading books, coloring, or simply playing a game of snakes and ladders with our seniors who are taking their final footsteps in life.
