Linking Generations Executive Director Debbie Sinclair was chosen to receive the prestigious honor of being presented the King Charles III Coronation Medal today, recognizing her for her community involvement and commitment to the County of Strathcona and The City of Fort Saskatchewan.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal was created to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, which took place on May 6, 2023. It is the first Canadian commemorative medal to mark a coronation.
Debbie has an incredible passion for seniors and an uncanny ability to connect with youth. When adding these two together, it is easy to understand why Linking Generations continues to thrive, grow, and expand. Since assuming the role of Executive Director for Linking Generations, she has expanded the organization to now offer 14 various senior/student intergenerational programs in the County of Strathcona and most recently The City of Fort Saskatchewan. Debbie dedicates herself to Linking Generations, which the whole community benefits from. She is a strong advocate of community senior and student connectivity and non-profit organizations. She is a past member of Big Sisters, and The Kinettes as well as The Edmonton Progress Club. Debbie has sat in the role of Public Board Member for the Primary Care Network in Strathcona County, Past Board Member of The County of Strathcona Seniors Advisory Committee and she currently is a member of the County of Strathcona Social Framework Steering Committee. She is the proud recipient of the Alberta Capital Region Integrity award, presented by the Sherwood Park Rotary Club.
Congratulations to Debbie Sinclair.
