We are so fortunate to have such a caring and dedicated Volunteer Grandparent, who has taught a grade 1 class how to grow tomatoes.
After weeks of nurturing and checking on the classroom tomatoes, it was time for transplanting day with the Gr 1 class.
Each student had two tomatoes — one for themselves and one to give as a gift to someone special.
