St. Patrick’s Day, celebrated on March 17, marks the death of St. Patrick, the 5th-century missionary credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland.
It evolved from a modest religious feast into a global celebration of Irish culture, featuring parades, wearing green, and Irish food.
