Capital Care seniors and École Père Kenneth Kearns Catholic Elementary School Students Visit!
This afternoon, our EPK students painted assorted pictures with our Capital Care seniors. Seniors helped our young students with a Math Dice Game "Make That Number" -- whereas you add or subtract the number on the dice and colour the squares. In autumn fewer hours of sunlight and colder temperatures trigger a chemical change in tree leaves. That's why they can turn different colors such as red, orange, yellow, and brown.
