St. Patrick's Day has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking and a whole lot of green. This was a large class of 30 students that visited Capital Care Strathcona today. Together, our seniors and students made shamrock paper plate decorations, and coloured Happy St Patrick's Day sheets . Seniors often enjoy having children read to them because it provides a sense of connection with younger generations, stimulates their minds through cognitive engagement with stories, offers a joyful activity that can reduce stress, and can even help maintain memory and language skills by revisiting familiar narratives.  Click here to see other pictures !
