Our Chartwell EmeraldĀ Hills senior participants enjoyed their afternoon visit with their linked students from Lakeland Ridge Junior High School. The teams played ChristmasĀ Trivia and spent timeĀ crafting together. Our students were very interested in hearing some old traditionsĀ of Christmas past that our seniors shared. What a fantastic visit today with our junior high students from JP Paul School and our Heartland Housing Dr Turner Lodge seniors. Everyone enjoys playing cardsĀ for a variety of reasons, includingĀ theĀ social interactionĀ and bonding they provide, theĀ mental stimulationĀ and challenge of strategic thinking, and theĀ stress reliefĀ and mood improvement from a fun, engaging activity. Each student team was also asked to learn more about their seniorsĀ by asking them specific questions about them.
