Our Lakeland Ridge students had so much fun with their linked seniors at Chartwell Emerald Hills this past week. Linking Generations had set up various carnival stations that the teams rotated through. Our carnival consisted of games and overall merriment, as our pictures attest to. Our seniors from Capital Care Strathcona enjoyed their visit with 19 young students from École Père Kenneth Kearns Elementary. Students read to the seniors and they played "Bridging the Gap Linking Generations Game" -- this game is a hit with students and seniors. Click here to see other pictures!

Although it's cold outside, it's warm inside with laughter, giggles and shared stories ! Our young elementary students spent the morning reading to the seniors and played "Bridging the Gap Linking Generations Game". Fun was had by all. Click here to see other pictures!

Fort Saskatchewan Community Care enjoyed their afternoon visit with our young students today. What a fantastic visit today with our Sherwood Care senior residents and our elementary students. Students read to the seniors and created scratch bookmarks.
