Rock With The Ages Visit

One of our most successful intergenerational visits to date !!!!
Our seniors and students celebrated with a music visit examining music through the decades. Assorted music was played from 1930 to 2016 and as teams, the seniors and students had to guess the Decade of the Song, the Artist who sang the song, the Song title and either senior or student had to share a memory of what the song evoked for themselves.

Seniors and students alike were singing and dancing in their chairs. We even had a few students get up and dance for the seniors !!!!

Anyone remember “Moon River” or “On the Good Ship Lollypop” ?

Season’s Greetings From Linking Generations !

Linking Generations students and seniors embody the spirit of Joy and Giving! Their special links, formed from the goodness of their hearts, is helping to shape our community into a more caring, kind, and supportive community. With this in mind, we hope this upcoming festive season will bring each of you and your families a time to share your joy, your love, and your appreciation for the small things in our world!

On behalf of the Linking Generations Board of Directors, Program Coordinators, and volunteers – may you and your families experience the true essence of Christmas: Joyful time with families and the sharing of love!
