Linking Generations is honoured to have been nominated for this years 2015 Ministers Service Award. The Minister’s 2015 Seniors Service Awards recognizes Albertans/ Alberta organizations who volunteer their time to make a difference in the lives of seniors. I special celebration was hosted in June 2015 by the Alberta Government Seniors Minister’s Office. This celebration was to honour those organizations and private individuals nominated for this award and to officially recognize for their contributions made to our seniors and our communities. Attending from Linking Generations was Exec. Director Debbie Sinclair, Program Coordinator Leslie Keller, Strathcona County Councillor Linton Delainey and Elk Island Catholic School Deputy Superintendent Shawn Haggarty .
There are so many worthwhile individuals and non profit groups that help seniors in our communities and Linking Generations knows that no matter what each group may be offering to our local seniors, we all make a positive difference in a seniors life.
