The students from Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School and the seniors from Country Cottage Retirement Residence had a fun day at their Planting Visit.
First they painted their pots in bright happy spring colours.
Then they ‘dug in’ … Putting dirt into the pots and planting the pansies.
The seniors loved planting the plants.
One of our seniors broke down in tears and said that she has not had her hands in soil for over ten years !
Now THAT is a wonderful story !!
