Linking Generations has been nominated for the 2016 Minister’s Seniors Service Awards for the 2nd year in a row.
The Minister’s Seniors Service Award Nomination Celebration was held at the Westend Seniors Activity Centre in Edmonton on June 9th.
Pictured below is the Honourable Lori Sigurdson presenting Debbie Sinclair a certificate congratulating Linking Generations for the nomination for the 2016 Minister’s Seniors Service Award.
Since 1998, the Minister’s Seniors Service Awards have recognized outstanding Albertans or organizations who volunteer their time to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
Following the community celebrations, all nominations will be reviewed by a Nomination Review Committee which will then forward recommendations to the Minister. The Minister of Seniors and Housing will select the award recipients. The recipients of the award will be selected later in the summer and recognized at a special event to be held in Edmonton in the fall. Information about nominees and recipients will be released to the media and posted on the ministry website.
Congratulations to Linking Generations !!
