Linking Generations is honoured to partner with LINKages Society of Alberta in a special contest open to youth ages 30 or under and adults 55+. We hope the contest will inspire youth and seniors to connect and share stories of Canada, while learning from one another .This contest is all about youth and older adults sharing their stories and learning’s of Canada. Through this intergenerational story telling project, we’re hoping to capture Canada’s culture, history, and heritage through the experiences of Canadians.
LINKages has designed this contest to be multimedia based, therefore participants can submit anything from a journal entry to a song or a video. On June 30th, 2017 LINKages Society of Alberta will seal all of the submissions in a time capsule that will be opened on July 1st, 2067 — aligning with Canada’s 200th Year Celebration!
