What a special visit – looking back generations ago and studying items used in the household or the farm. Each senior and student brought a unique heritage item to this visit, so as to share their own personal past and heritage with their ‘linked’ partner.
Some brought photos, some brought passed down recipes. One senior even brought a family photo album.
A very special thank you to Strathcona Museum for allowing Linking Generations to use these precious heritage items. Strathcona Museum has ensured that items such as these are preserved so that we may enjoy and learn the history and heritage of Strathcona County.
