Thank you to Rogers Communications for the wonderful and thoughtful cheque presentation to Linking Generations Society of Alberta It was wonderful to be part of January 3rd, 2019.
It was especially heartwarming to receive community funding in front of our senior and student program participants, along with many student’s parents ! Our seniors loved being part of such an event, and many remarked at the end of the afternoon, that they enjoyed knowing how funds are given by organizations such as Rogers Communication . The caring and generosity that all of the Rogers team has shown to our organization is very heartfelt !
Our whole community benefits from supporting students. Linking students with seniors builds leadership and mentorship. The youth are seeing history through the eyes of their seniors. They are gaining skills and learning new perspectives to become our future community leaders.
