This year has been like no other in our lifetime. Linking Generations would like to send our thoughts and prayers to everyone who has been affected by this terrible virus, and express our gratitude to our frontline workers, caring for our most vulnerable in impossible circumstances. Thank you for giving your strength to so many.
Replacing activity programs and introducing activities that supported social distancing and in many cases complete lockdown was easier said than done. With ingenuity, creativity and hard work Linking Generations rose to the challenge of a completely different year of activity programming.
Our partnership schools and senior centres were so supportive of our programming changes . What a difference it made to know that you were there to help us find solutions to shared problems together. Thank you for your compassion, collaboration and courage.
Linking Generations wishes you a very safe and healthy Christmas. May the New Year bring continued good health , good health, happiness and good fortune. Take heart; slowly but surely the pandemic will fade, so let’s welcome 2021 warmly.
