More Seniors Head Back to School !
This time our partnership school Ecole Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) extended an invitation to our participating Linking Generations seniors from Heartland Housing Silver Birch Lodge/Haven Seniors Residences to attend an afternoon back in the classroom. Our seniors witnessed what a classroom looks like now – no black boards- only white boards! And computers.
What a fun afternoon filled with laughter and smiles.
Seniors took part in an afternoon of several core subject assignments and then were all awarded their passing certificates !
A very special Thank You to Mr. Alyre Morin ( principal ) and Ms. Denise Gagnon ( teacher) for making this special outing a day of laughter, hugs and memories for our seniors. Plus, we send a Shout Out to say Thanks to Drive Happiness for ensuring our seniors got to school on time and got back home safely!
