Our first visit with students from Strathcona Christian Academy and their ‘linked’ seniors from Capital Care Strathcona. We are thrilled to have this new partnership and we are excited about the visits that will occur over the next 10 months. Thank you to Strathcona Christian Academy for opening their hearts to our cause, and to Capital Care for embracing our return. The students had a mix of emotions, from nervousness to excitement, before heading to Capital Care, but it was so worth it – Smiles and hugs were evident from the introductions onwards. The students are looking forward to getting to know their seniors more and the seniors now are waiting for the next Thursday to arrive quickly.
